About Dawn
Do you ever wonder in the day in and the day out of life, is this as good as it gets? Not connecting with your team, your mission, your family, and you’re just getting through the day, spinning your wheels, emptying out the tank, but there is little to refill you?
This is YOUR story, and it doesn’t have to be about just getting by. What if I asked you, are you ready to be the Hero? Do you need the tools to step into the life you have envisioned, do you need the tools to expand your leadership to the place you want it to be? I believe in your story and the fact you were meant to be the Hero. Whether at home or in the office, people need you, your connection, your gifts.
I have been someone that has always been invested in hearing stories. If you caught me at a dinner party, you would see me nodding, fully entranced while listening to someone share their truth, their vulnerability, and their hopes for the future. I have spent over 20 years intently listening to stories of triumph, resilience, pain, heartache, the underdog, the conqueror, the hero, etc. My mission, outside of the home, is to heal stories, teach you how to live your empowered story, and support you with the tools you need to connect, love, lead, and live, authentically.
My career trajectory has been dedicated to fostering growth and nurturing potential. In fact, I am not just a relationship coach, therapist, or educator, but I’m a zealous supporter and co-architect of dreams. Armed with an extensive experience in counseling and education, holding titles such as Licensed Professional Counselor, National Board Certified Counselor, and ICF-Certified Life Coach, and with two graduate degrees under my belt, I possess a profound understanding of human development, group dynamics, and the struggles therein for every human and their basic needs to be seen, heard, and loved. I am fully skilled to help you tackle a myriad of challenges, including but not limited to the following common topics that drive people my way: anger management, creating deep connections with the people you value most, courageous conversations, nervous system regulation, creating boundaries, people pleasing, anxiety mitigation, self-esteem, attachment styles in relationships, imposter syndrome, connecting and living in your authentic self, holistic health practices, etc.
It’s my obsession with seeing you win at life, your relationships, your job—your victories, your stumbles, and all the pages yet unwritten.
I am here to help translate those stories into a life fulfilled, a vision realized. You get to accept the invitation to be the HERO in your story–to build emotional intelligence for success, in the workplace and beyond.
You’re right, change doesn’t involve a magic wand. In this case, it is rolling up your sleeves and doing the work that requires the step to move from comfortable, predictable, innate to uncomfortable, surprising, and resolute. In fact, when working with clients, I gently, but pointedly, ask them, “Are you willing to learn how to do it differently?” It's about connecting to your authentic self (the best version of yourself), learning the communication and connection skills you need to support your change, feeling empowered to practice and learn the skills that help become the catalyst of changing your environment, both at work and at home.
Speaking of work and home, I am not just an educated professional connecting and teaching without working on my own process! I live what I preach. I am a married mom of 3 teens–Jesus, take the wheel (anyone raising teens today could probably resonate with that phrase) and I know the effort that family life dictates to love and lead in an authentic way. When I am not loving on my family, I am serving clients, snuggling with my furry babies, nurturing my green thumb, CrossFitting at least 4 times a week, praying, journaling, getting the sunshine on my face, connecting, sipping my espresso, etc. You see, I know that life is short, sacred, and valuable. Connecting, loving, and leading isn’t easy, but I haven’t found a more rich version of this life. You were not made for isolation, but for purpose driven connection.
If you have been crippled by the limitations of not having the tools to maximize your life as a leader, you are not alone and quite frankly, you don’t have to be alone. I believe in the power of enhancing your emotional intelligence in the workplace and beyond. If you are ready for the path towards self-discovery, ready to learn how to embrace purpose-driven connection, ready to connect with your authentic self, ready for accountability, and ready to love yourself enough to empower you to live your best life, I am here. Let’s get ready for the ripple effect of change in the workplace and at home.
